The fellowship program is an opportunity for a student who wishes to contribute to make a positive difference to the world around to begin his/her journey by exploring what exactly are the needs of the world around. To do so the fellow will connect to an existing problem and invest his time and efforts to solve if not the entire problem but a part of it.
Doing something to solve the problem is different from just surveying or studying it. The very process of accepting a challenge to solve it gives a truer vision of reality and brings forward the multiple dimensions of the challenge. In the process, an open mind and open heart will open up newer challenges that the world is facing. One of these probably will eventually be taken up by the fellow and solving it will become his/her mission.
Providing an opportunity to the fellow to find a purpose to his/her life is the objective of the fellowship program. Currently this program is only for youth who are part of the NIRMAN Camps.
It provides the fellows with financial support to sustain during the period of fellowship and a guided opening in the social sector under experienced mentors and renowned organisations in different fields.
